CHE vs TOT: Head-To-Head, Current Form, Injury Update, Possible Formation & Lineup Ahead Of The Game #TOTCHE

Tottenham will host Chelsea at their stadium today as both teams look to keep up pace with Liverpool, who are the current Premier League leaders.

This season both teams have been in fine form and they will each fancy their chances of getting all the three points, in anticipation of the game let’s take a look at some of analysis of their previous meetings, current form and the possible formation and lineup both managers might deploy today.

Table of Contents

Head To Head Stats

Going into Sunday’s clash the blues have the better head-to-head stats, in their last four meetings Chelsea have won two of the games while the other two games have ended in a draw, and giving the current form of both teams the game is likely going to be a cracker.

Current Form

Chelsea have been buzzing this season, the only sent to their record this season is the 1-1 draw with Liverpool, they have ashed through their other games, even when they weren’t playing well they have been winning their games.

Tottenham too been in great form, but they have failed to secure a win in their last two games, their 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace was majorly due to the red card their defender got, but they also played out a 1-1 draw with Rennes.

Injury Update

Ngolo Kante is fit again, and could be available for selection but that is unlikely to happen because Tuchel wouldn’t want to risk the player too soon, although he might play a part in the game.

Key Players

Both teams have so many top players that can influence the game to their favour, Chelsea has Romelu Lukaku while Tottenham have Harry Kane, both players will be huge today but due to the attention opposition defenders will be paying them, their impact might be greatly diminished.

In a scenario like this, other players will have to step up, for Chelsea, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount will be the next guys to turn to, while Nuno Espirito Santo has Son Heung Min and Dele Ali to turn to.

Match Prediction

A very tough game to predict, but it will be a cagey affair with both teams looking to break on the counter attack, a 2-2 draw is my prediction for the game, it will be difficult to keep the attack for both teams at bay.

Starting Line Up

Tuchel will most likely continue with his 3-4-3 formation, with a five man defence without the ball and a three man defence with the ball.

Goalkeeper; Edouard Mendy

Defenders: Thiago Silva, Cesar Azpilcueta, Ben Chilwell and Reece James

Midfielders: Jorginho and Kovacic

Attackers: Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Romelu Lukaku.
